Wife of Ekiti Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, has urged tourists from around the world to visit the Ikogosi Resort Centre, renowned for its natural warm spring, for a truly unforgettable experience.

Dr Oyebanji made the invitation on Tuesday while touring the recently revamped resort in Ikogosi, located in Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

She expressed her office’s readiness to partner with the resort to promote one of her key initiatives, Adire Ekiti, to a global audience.

During the tour, Dr Oyebanji was shown around the resort by Mr John Olajide, Chairman of Cavista Holdings, along with other members of his management team. She encouraged tourists to visit the resort and experience the natural beauty and tropical luxury of the area.

The governor’s wife was guided through several facilities, including the swimming pool fed by the warm spring, the restaurants, a multipurpose conference hall, and the lounge. She praised the management for transforming the resort to world-class standards.

In his remarks, Olajide explained that the upgrades to the resort were designed to make it world-class while also providing employment opportunities for the local community. He acknowledged the support from the government, particularly the provision of public power supply to the resort.

Olajide also emphasised that the resort offers affordable rates compared to international tourist destinations and called for increased patronage from Nigerians as well as visitors from the diaspora.
