In response, IGP Disu described the visit as a timely intervention for democratic stability and confirmed that the Nigeria Police Force has already activated precision intelligence mapping to neutralize political violence and intimidation.
The IGP assured the delegation that all personnel deployed for electoral duties would strictly adhere to the Constitution and the Electoral Act.
He emphasized that the Force maintains a policy of zero tolerance for professional misconduct and that any officer found undermining the credibility of the polls would face strict disciplinary action.
