In a landmark display of operational safety and workforce protection, Heirs Energies Limited has announced a major milestone, achieving 11.9 million Lost Time Injury (LTI)-free man-hours.
The achievement, reached in September 2026, represents an unbroken streak of more than five years without a single Lost Time Injury across the company’s operations.
The announcement, made public as part of the company’s World Sustainability Day commemorations, underscores how rigorous safety standards remain core to Heirs Energies’ operational philosophy.
Operating the critical OML 17 asset via its Joint Venture with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, the company attributes this milestone to its deeply embedded workplace culture driven by the guiding principle: “Everyone is a Safety Officer.”
