The Chief Executive Officer of Ashday Health and Wellness, Mrs Opeyemi Adedokun, has said that women cannot achieve true success without prioritising their physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

She stated this during the Nigerian NewsDirect Thriving Women Conference ’25, held on Saturday in Lagos.

Adedokun, who delivered the opening session of the conference, spoke on the theme “Living Intentionally Through Health and Balance.”

She explained that the key to women’s success lies in maintaining balance and intentional self-care, stressing that health and personal growth must come before ambition.

According to her, to truly thrive, women must live with awareness and discipline. She illustrated this by breaking down the word THRIVING into actionable principles that promote holistic health.

She said T stands for Tranquility, urging women to follow a 3-2-1 bedtime system , three hours before bed, no food; two hours before bed, no work; and one hour before bed, no screen time, to achieve better rest and mental calm.

She added that H represents Hydration, reminding participants to stay refreshed and energised through adequate water intake.

According to her, R stands for Renew, a call for constant self-reflection and growth, while I means Invest, encouraging women to invest time, resources, and effort in their happiness and health.

She explained that V symbolises Vitality, which reflects both physical strength and mental clarity, while E stands for Emotional Wellbeing, stressing the importance of balance in relationships and mindset.

Also, she said S represents Self-Care, which she described as the cornerstone of sustainable thriving and lasting fulfilment.

She added that women who live intentionally through healthy habits and balance are better equipped to lead, succeed, and make a lasting impact in their careers and families.
