He is now a muslim - Rahman Jago confirms Burna Boy's conversion

Socialite and close associate of Burna Boy, Rahman Jago has confirmed the conversion of the grammy-winning Afrobeats star to Islam.

Jago shared a video on his X handle featuring the singer praising Allah with the caption “Allahu Akbar”.

Jago explicitly confirmed the transition in follow-up social media interactions, stating, “He converted. He is now a Muslim”.

The news follows a podcast appearance several weeks ago where Burna Boy mentioned embracing Islam at some point during a personal search for truth.

While high-profile figures like Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential aide, have publicly wished the singer ease on his new journey, Burna Boy himself has yet to provide a personal official confirmation. This development comes just weeks after the singer missed out on the Best Global Music Album category at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where his album No Sign of Weakness lost to Brazilian icons Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethânia.

Rema struts at Milan Fashion Week as Jung Kook unveils Calvin Klein campaign

The intersection of music and high fashion reached a peak this week as Nigerian superstar Rema made a surprise appearance on the runway at Milan Fashion Week AW26.

Walking for the iconic brand Diesel, Rema strutted through a warehouse filled with 50,000 artifacts from the brand's archive, wearing textures designed by creative director Glenn Martens.

The show, which reframed the walk of shame as a walk of fame, solidified the Afrobeats star's growing influence as a global style icon.

Simultaneously, global brand ambassador Jung Kook of BTS has launched the Calvin Klein Spring 2026 denim campaign.

The high-impact film features the K-pop idol showcasing his signature choreography against a New York City backdrop, blending his love for dance and fashion.
