Gov. Fubara reaffirms support for NLNG operations in Rivers

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has reiterated the unwavering commitment of Rivers State to support the operations and long-term success of Nigeria LNG Limited. The Governor emphasized the company’s critical role in the economic advancement of both the state and the nation.

Speaking during a recent courtesy visit, Gov. Fubara underscored the strong interconnection between NLNG’s performance and the broader development objectives of Rivers State and Nigeria. He noted that sustained collaboration between government and key industry players remains essential for unlocking growth, attracting investment, and ensuring stability in the region.

In response, NLNG’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Adeleye Falade, expressed appreciation for the state government’s continued support. He highlighted that recent improvements in security and the creation of a more stable operating environment have significantly enhanced the company’s capacity to deliver value and maintain operational efficiency.

Falade reaffirmed NLNG’s commitment to deepening its partnership with government and host communities, noting that the company will continue to invest in impactful social initiatives. These include programs focused on education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic development, aimed at fostering sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
