‎Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri today, led the maiden weekly prosperity walk for 2026.

‎Speaking after the walk at the Peace park in Yenagoa, Governor Diri urged Bayelsans to take their health seriously by exercising regularly.

‎While thanking Bayelsans for the massive turnout, the governor encouraged more persons to join the weekly prosperity walk, stating that it is for their overall well-being.

‎”First, this is the maiden walk out for 2026, and as a family that is trying to be fit and prosperous in our health, let me first of all, wish us a Happy New Year.

“‎I want to thank you for the very massive turnout today, and this signifies that this year will be better. I urge you to continue in this fashion”, Governor Diri stated.
