Gov. Bago attends funeral of Hajiya Fatima Jantabo in Minna

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago was among Muslim faithful who attended the funeral of the late Hajiya Fatima Hamidu Jantabo, elder sister to the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mu’azu Hamidu Jantabo.

The deceased was also a relative of the Farmer Governor, Hanafi Hamidu Jantabo.

The funeral prayer, held at the Minna Central Mosque, was led by the Deputy Chief Imam of Minna, Habibu Abubakar Mai-Basira.

The Farmer Governor described the death of Hajiya Fatima Jantabo as a great loss and extended condolences to the immediate and extended families of the deceased.

He urged family members to remain steadfast in the will of Allah, noting that He gives and takes life.

The Farmer Governor prayed Allah to repose the soul of the deceased and grant comfort to the bereaved.

Other dignitaries present at the funeral included the Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba; Secretary to the Niger State Government, Abubakar Usman; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi; the Emir of Lapai, Alh. Umaru Bago Tafida III; and the Emir of Minna, Alh. Umar Farouk Bahago.
