Galaxy Backbone mulls strategic IT partnership with NYSC to fortify digital infrastructure

The Managing Director of Galaxy Backbone, Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, has initiated a strategic move to partner with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to enhance the scheme’s digital capabilities and data security.

During a high-level courtesy visit to the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja, Prof. Adeyanju emphasized that any organization patronizing Galaxy Backbone receives the full protection of Nigerian data laws, ensuring a secure environment for sensitive information.

Prof. Adeyanju expressed his organization’s readiness to overhaul NYSC State Secretariats with advanced digital infrastructure, aiming to streamline operations across the federation.

He took the opportunity to commend the NYSC for its enduring role in national integration and socio-economic development, noting that the policy of deploying Corps members outside their states of origin continues to provide immense value to the country despite contemporary challenges.

As the Federal Government’s primary digital infrastructure platform, Galaxy Backbone remains committed to providing high-speed internet and maximum security for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.

In response, the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, described the scheme as a household name dedicated to cultivating a formidable workforce for Nigeria.

He lauded the technical initiatives presented by Galaxy Backbone and affirmed that the NYSC is eager to collaborate with agencies that can strengthen its internal operations.

General Nafiu assured the visiting team that the management would thoroughly review the partnership proposal with a view toward significantly improving service delivery for all Nigerians.
