Ekiti reschedules statewide endorsement rally for Tinubu, Oyebanji

The Ekiti State Government has rescheduled the statewide endorsement rally for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the state governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, to Monday, 28th July 2025.

The event, earlier slated for Tuesday, 23rd July, will now hold at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, along New Iyin Road in Ado-Ekiti, at 10 a.m., according to the organisers.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Central Organising Committee and Head of the Media Subcommittee, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the adjustment in date was described as a strategic move to ensure seamless participation and improved logistical coordination across all local government areas.

The statement explained that the new date would also allow adequate scheduling time for key stakeholders and political leaders to guarantee robust attendance.

“The Organising Committee extends its appreciation to the media and the general public for their continued support and commitment to this significant engagement, which aims to reaffirm the support of Ekiti people for the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji,” Olatunbosun noted.

He commended the enthusiasm shown towards the gathering and appealed for continued cooperation as preparations advance for what he described as “a truly inclusive and impactful event in honour of our esteemed leaders.”
