Easter marks triumph through Christ’s sacrifice – Alake

The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr Dele Alake, has described the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross as a harbinger of triumph and a pathway to  eternal life.

Alake said this in his Easter message, issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Segun Tomori, on Sunday in Abuja.

“Today, we are redeemed by the essence of that resurrection. May the power of that redemption herald joy, peace, and prosperity in our lives and across our dear nation,” he said.

According to him, the Easter celebration is a reminder that light always breaks through the darkest dawns.

He prayed that the season revived the spirit of the Christian faithful and all Nigerians.

“May the season also renew their sense of purpose and restore every broken piece with unwavering hope, “ he said.
