Deputy Senate President, Sen. Barau Jibrin, led All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders to Shanono on Wednesday to rally support ahead of Saturday’s State House of Assembly bye-election for the Shanono and Bagwai constituency. The election follows the passing of APC lawmaker Halilu Kundila.
Addressing a crowd of thousands, Jibrin urged constituents to vote for APC candidate Ahmed Kademu, highlighting the party’s reforms and initiatives that have benefited the community. He emphasized the importance of reciprocating these gains through active support at the polls.
Bichi Federal Constituency representative, Kabiru Abubakar, also appealed for backing the APC candidate, citing the party’s commitment to local development, including plans to construct N10 billion worth of rural roads aimed at improving infrastructure and livelihoods in the constituency.
