Constituency meeting: Renewed Hope Agenda alive in Ojokoro – Chairman, Rosiji

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Barr. (Mrs) Rosiji Oluyemisi Adenike, has declared that the Renewed Hope Agenda is “alive and working” within the council.
She made the remarks at the 10th Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting of the Lagos State House of Assembly, held last week, which brought together leaders, traditional rulers, and residents of Ojokoro LCDA.
The meeting, themed “Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda”, was held simultaneously across all 40 constituencies of Lagos State. Ojokoro hosted a packed session attended by political leaders, community organisations, and residents.
Delivering her keynote address, Barr. Rosiji stressed that governance must be judged by tangible impact rather than promises.
“Governance is not about lofty promises but about tangible actions and visible results,” she stated, citing progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
She explained that the council’s HEEDS+ Agenda, covering Health, Education, Empowerment, Development, and Sustainable Initiatives, continues to guide her administration. Ongoing road rehabilitations, new health centres, school upgrades, youth empowerment schemes, and social welfare initiatives were listed as evidence of delivery at the grassroots.
“Let me assure you today: the Renewed Hope Agenda is alive in Ojokoro LCDA. We will not relent until our Local Government stands as a model of grassroots prosperity, good governance, and people-centred leadership,” she affirmed.
Rosiji expressed gratitude to the Lagos State House of Assembly under Speaker Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa for sustaining constituency engagement, and she praised Hon. Emmanuel Olotu for his representation of the constituency at the Assembly.
The event drew several dignitaries, including Hon. Adeyemi Olabinjo, Member of the House of Representatives; the Governor’s Special Adviser on Works, Engr. Adekunle Olayinka, represented by Hon. Lekan Obayomi; former lawmaker Hon. Adisa; APC chieftain Hon. Salvador-Adebayo; Hon. Oseni Jelili Imam; HRM Oba Oluwalambe Taiwo; HRM Oba Adesoga Williams; other traditional rulers, party members, artisans, women and youth groups, and religious leaders.
Goodwill messages were delivered during the session, while residents also presented their concerns and requested further interventions from government representatives.
