Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, CON, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the completion of his second year in office, describing the milestone as a celebration of continuity, stability, and purposeful leadership in the state.
In a congratulatory message issued, Bello commended Governor Ododo for consolidating on the New Direction Agenda while smoothly transitioning into the Kogi State 32-Year Transformation Plan, noting that the governor’s performance reflects the shared vision they both hold for the development of Kogi State.
Bello expressed pride in Ododo’s leadership journey, highlighting his servant-leadership approach and commitment to people-centred, courageous, and progressive governance. He said the governor’s calm but firm leadership style has helped strengthen unity, peace, and public confidence across the state.
According to the former governor, Ododo’s achievements over the past two years have reaffirmed the trust placed in him by the people of Kogi State, stressing that the administration’s dedication to inclusive development continues to inspire hope among citizens.
He urged Governor Ododo to remain focused and resilient, noting that governance demands vision, integrity, and courage qualities he said the governor has consistently demonstrated since assuming office.
On behalf of his family and associates, Bello felicitated with the governor on the second anniversary of his administration and prayed for divine guidance, strength, and wisdom as Ododo continues to provide transformational leadership.
“The best days of Kogi State are still ahead of us,” Bello said, adding that he remains fully confident in Governor Ododo’s capacity to lead the state beyond the current term.
