Three months after reporting an alleged case of assault, robbery, arson and threat to life in Agege, authorities say investigations are still ongoing with the suspects still at large.
The case, which was officially recorded on January 15, 2026, remains under investigation, with the perpetrators still at large and no arrests made in relation to the incident.

According to a police report file by the victim Mohammed, unidentified armed men allegedly invaded his residence, attacked his family, assaulted him and his children, robbed his property, and set parts of his premises ablaze.
The report stated that the complainant alleged he and his children were attacked during the incident, adding that he sustained injuries while escaping through the back of the house.
“He was assaulted with his two children, beaten and hit in the back of his legs repeatedly, and his right hand was badly injured but he managed to escape through the back door,” the statement noted.
The police report further indicated that the complainant linked the attack to earlier threats and previous violent incidents he claimed to have experienced in Kwara State before relocating to Lagos for safety.
“He stated further that prior to this incident, they had been previously attacked by this same set of (Fulani bandits) in Oke Ode, Kwara State,” the statement added.
He also alleged that earlier attacks on his community resulted in loss of lives and disappearances of some residents, after which he relocated to Lagos for safety before the latest incident occurred.
Despite the passage of time, the case remains under investigation, with no arrests made so far and the suspects still at large with growing calls for justice that those responsible be identified, arrested, and brought to justice without further delay.
The police have urged members of the public with useful information to report to the nearest police station or relevant authorities.
