APC wins at Winjobi street polling unit

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged as the leading party at Polling Unit 001, 6 Winjobi Street, Ataoja ‘A’ Registration Area in Osogbo Local Government Area of Osun State.
According to the result sheet issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the APC secured 177 votes to take the lead at the polling unit.
The Accord party followed with 93 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled three votes. The African Democratic Party (ADP) and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) recorded one vote each.
The result sheet showed that 618 voters were registered at the polling unit, while 286 voters were accredited for the exercise. A total of 618 ballot papers were issued, with 332 unused ballot papers recorded.
The document also showed that 12 ballots were rejected, while the total number of valid votes stood at 275. The total number of used ballot papers was recorded as 287.
The figures were entered on the official INEC Form EC8A and signed by the relevant polling officials and agents.
The result sheet, dated August 15, 2026, provides the official breakdown of votes cast at the polling unit as the collation of results continues across Osun State.
With 177 votes, the APC maintained a clear lead over its closest rival, Accord, which secured 93 votes at the polling unit.
