APC NWC holds 194th meeting in Abuja

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on Friday held its 194th meeting at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

The meeting brought together members of the party’s National Working Committee as part of efforts to review ongoing activities and deliberate on issues concerning the party and its administration.

The 194th NWC meeting is coming as the APC continues preparations for upcoming political activities, including the 2027 general elections, with party leaders expected to sustain consultations and strengthen the party’s structures across the country.

Yilwatda, who presided over the meeting, has continued to emphasise the importance of unity, discipline and effective coordination among party members as the APC works towards consolidating its political position.

The National Chairman has repeatedly called on members to remain committed to the party’s programmes and support its leadership at all levels.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for members of the NWC to deliberate on matters requiring the attention of the party’s national leadership.

A source within the party described the meeting as part of the APC’s regular internal engagements, noting that “the NWC remains focused on strengthening the party and ensuring that its structures remain functional.”

Another party official said the leadership was committed to maintaining “unity, discipline and effective coordination” ahead of the party’s future political engagements.

The APC has, in recent months, intensified activities at the national and state levels as it prepares for the next electoral cycle.

Friday’s meeting further demonstrated the continued engagement of the party’s national leadership in addressing internal matters and positioning the APC for upcoming political challenges.
