A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has expressed confidence that the campaign promises made by the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, will be fulfilled.
Oyintiloye stated this during a visit to the palace of the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Kayode Awogboro, on Thursday. He expressed optimism that Oyebamiji would honor all commitments made during the campaign and assured the community that their concerns would be communicated to the appropriate authorities.
He urged residents to vote massively for the party, stating that such support would enhance the chances of addressing their demands through government intervention. Oyintiloye noted that fulfilling campaign promises is essential to sustaining public trust and highlighted the APC’s track record of implementing people-oriented programmes.
“While I appreciate the opportunity given to me to represent the good people of Obokun, I must say emphatically that Oyebamiji will fulfil all his campaign promises,” he said.
Oyintiloye also highlighted projects executed during his tenure as evidence of his commitment to development, including the refurbishment of a police armored personnel carrier, the reconstruction of the Ibokun roundabout, palace renovations, and the provision of boreholes and electricity transformers.
In his response, the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Awogboro, appealed for increased federal government presence in the community. The traditional ruler urged the government to consider establishing a federal institution in Ibokun, citing the town’s consistent loyalty and support for the APC at the polls.
