The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Dr Abimbola Fasanu as a member of the Humanitarian Directorate of its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

Fasanu is the Senior Technical Adviser on Information Systems and Data Analysis to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Bernard Doro.

Reacting to her appointment while speaking with journalists on Thursday in Lagos, Fasanu expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve.

She described her inclusion in the council as an honour and reaffirmed her commitment to the vulnerable households, party and President Bola Tinubu.

Fasanu disclosed that her name had appeared on an updated membership list released by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka and members of the council were inaugurated on Wednesday in Abuja.

She pledged to contribute to the work of the Humanitarian Directorate ahead of the 2027 general elections, drawing on her experience in supporting initiatives aimed at lifting families out of poverty.

She highlighted the importance of humanitarian interventions to vulnerable households, particularly families whose livelihoods depend on such support.

Fasanu also expressed confidence in Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing his administration’s efforts in the humanitarian sector and other areas of national development.
