Africa Prudential Plc has announced the resignation of its Chief Finance Officer (CFO), Mr. Taofik Giwa, effective November 11, 2025.
In a notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the Company confirmed that Mr. Giwa stepped down after serving in the role, and his exit has been formally accepted by the Board. Although the statement did not disclose the reason for his resignation, the Company expressed appreciation for his contributions during his tenure.
Africa Prudential noted that it has commenced the process of appointing a qualified replacement to fill the strategic leadership position. To ensure continuity, the Company’s Finance Manager, Mr. Chidi Micheal, will oversee the responsibilities of the CFO in an acting capacity until a substantive appointment is made.
The notice was signed by the Company Secretary, Joseph Jibunoh, who reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to maintaining strong corporate governance and effective financial management during the transition period.
