The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has assured residents of affected parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) that efforts are underway to restore electricity supply following a disruption caused by a technical fault.
In a statement released on Monday, the company listed the impacted areas to include Nelson Mandela Asokoro, Efab Classic Estate, Metro City Estate, Sticks & Stones, Yayala Estate, Trademore Estate, Choos Estate, Maxcare Plaza, Faith Plaza, Sunflower Plaza, and Erifu Estate. Others are DME Estate, Green Path School, Earth Point Estate, Sunnyvale Estate, Brains & Hammer (1, 2, and 4), Hunters Garden, and Eco Fitness, among other neighbouring communities.
“We regret to inform you that the ongoing power outage affecting your area is due to a technical fault,” AEDC stated, while assuring customers that its technical team is working round the clock to fix the issue and restore power as quickly as possible.
