Adeleke, Kyari visit Basiru, mourn late mother
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, on Tuesday paid separate condolence visits to the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Dr. Ajibola Basiru, following the death of his mother.
Governor Adeleke was accompanied by the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olumide Adewale Egbedun and members of the Osun State Executive Council during the visit to Senator Basiru’s residence.
The governor sympathized with Senator Basiru and members of his family over the loss of their matriarch.
He prayed that Almighty Allah grant the deceased Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the strength to bear the loss.
The visit reflected a show of solidarity with the bereaved family during their moment of grief, as the governor and his entourage offered their condolences and prayers.
Earlier in the day, Kyari had also visited Basiru to offer his condolences.
