Sen. Adetokunbo Abiru (APC-Lagos) has urged party members to unite and consolidate progress for a resounding victory in the local government elections.

Abiru made the call during the APC Campaign Mega Rally held at Government College, Owutu, Ikorodu, on Saturday.

The senator, representing Lagos East, stressed the need for unity and teamwork among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

He encouraged grassroots mobilisation—house to house, street to street, and corner to corner—to strengthen the party’s presence ahead of the elections.

Abiru reaffirmed his firm support for all APC candidates, reiterating the party’s dedication to impactful and people-focused governance.

He said grassroots politics remained vital to local government development and essential to the success of the coming elections.

He again urged members to mobilise support from every street and household to ensure a favourable outcome at the polls.

The senator highlighted the APC’s track record, citing major developments across Lagos and Governor Sanwo-Olu’s significant achievements.

Abiru also praised President Bola Tinubu’s decisive actions in stabilising Nigeria and improving the business climate.

He encouraged party faithful to stay committed and help secure continued progress under the APC leadership.

He noted that the local polls were not only important but also strategic for the 2027 general elections.

Addressing the crowd, Abiru said APC remains steadfast in delivering impactful governance at state and national levels.

He said the numerous visible developments show the contributions of outgoing local government chairmen across Lagos State.

Abiru described the upcoming elections as key to consolidating gains and preparing for future electoral success.

“All hands must be on deck,” Abiru said, calling for collective effort ahead of the 2027 general elections.
