Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Osun State for the 2026 election, Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed strong optimism about the new year.
He described it as a decisive period that will usher in victory and landmark success, particularly as the country approaches another round of elections.
In a New Year message to supporters and stakeholders, Oyebamiji said 2026 represents a pivotal moment in their collective political journey, urging unity, resilience and teamwork as the groundwork for success is consolidated.
He said:“As we step into 2026, this is a year destined for victory and landmark success. With the upcoming elections, the year stands as a defining point in our journey. Success is no longer far off — it is right at our doorstep.”
Oyebamiji attributed the confidence in the coming year to what he described as sustained hard work, dedication and shared sacrifice among supporters, party faithful and associates over time.
He expressed belief that these efforts would ultimately be rewarded.
“I am confident that the Lord will crown our collective efforts and hard work with triumph,” he stated, stressing that the task ahead requires renewed commitment and discipline.
Calling for cohesion ahead of the electoral season, Oyebamiji urged his supporters to remain steadfast and united, warning that division could undermine the progress already made.
He further encouraged supporters to approach the year with courage and a shared sense of responsibility, noting that collective resolve would be critical in translating ambition into victory.
