The Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) has concluded investigations into sixteen officers previously arrested over acts of indiscipline and breaches of service regulations, the Defence Headquarters announced. The report of the inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate superior authority in line with existing military regulations.
In a statement issued by that Major General Samaila Uba, Director of Defence Information on Monday, reaffirming the AFN’s resolve to enforce discipline and uphold its core values.
The comprehensive investigation, carried out in accordance with established military procedures, examined all circumstances surrounding the conduct of the affected officers.
