President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria’s First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu have described Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), as a spiritual fortress and one of the nation’s most significant gifts.
In a joint tribute ahead of the clergyman’s 84th birthday on March 2, 2026, the First Couple characterized the man fondly known as Daddy G.O. as a leader whose humility is genuine and whose wisdom runs deeper than the ordinary.
They highlighted that his intercessions for Nigeria and its people before God Almighty remain a cornerstone of his spiritual service to the country.
Beyond his role in the pulpit, the President and First Lady emphasized that Pastor Adeboye’s contributions to Nigeria extend into the vital sectors of philanthropy, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.
They specifically commended his patriotic zeal and manifest determination toward the progress of the nation, thanking him for over five decades of teachings that continue to transform lives across generations and borders.
As he celebrates this milestone, the President and First Lady joined his wife, Pastor Foluke, and the global Body of Christ in praying for his continued health and strength in the Lord’s vineyard.
