Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have arrested two suspected ISWAP logistics suppliers, rescued two abductees and neutralised two terrorists in separate operations across Borno.

An operational report made available to the news reporters on Friday said troops of 202 Battalion intercepted two suspected terrorist logistics suppliers at Abbaram Village in Bama Local Government Area (LGA).

Items recovered from the suspects included a mobile phone battery, two wrappers, five yards of clothing material and other sundry items.

The report said troops of the 82 Division Task Force Battalion also rescued two abductees wandering around Armuda Bridge in Gwoza LGA after escaping from a terrorist camp.

According to the report, the victims said the terrorist camp in the Agapalwa general area was in disarray, with many fighters either fleeing or suffering injuries from previous military operations.

It added that troops of 73 Battalion, in conjunction with vigilantes, ambushed terrorists along the Tamsukawu Road behind the University of Maiduguri and neutralised two of them.

The report added that troops of 233 Tank Battalion arrested three suspected cattle rustlers at Mel Uku in Akko LGA of Gombe State.

It said the suspects reportedly confessed to engaging in cattle rustling for more than two years.

According to the report, recovered items included three mobile phones, three cutlasses, a bow with arrows and N24,750 in cash.
