Sunbeth Global earn A2, Bbb grade ratings from Agusto & Co.

Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited has been assigned national scale investment-grade credit ratings by SEC-regulated rating agencies Agusto & Co. and Intelligence Africa, affirming the company’s financial stability, operational resilience, and long-term expansion strategy.

Agusto & Co. assigned Sunbeth an A2 Short-term rating and a Bbb Long-term rating.
Meanwhile, Intelligence Africa issued a first-time rating on July 9, 2026, assigning a BBB+.NG long-term issuer rating and an A2 Short-term rating, both with a Stable Outlook.

Intelligence Africa noted that the rating reflects Sunbeth’s position as one of Nigeria’s foremost non-oil exporters.

The agency cited the firm’s strong foreign currency earnings, integrated operational model, robust profitability, diversified funding channels, and substantial undrawn committed credit facilities supporting liquidity.

Since its inception in 2017, Sunbeth has exported over 200,000 metric tonnes of cocoa and more than 60,000 metric tonnes of cashew.

To manage the increased working capital demands of large-scale commodity sourcing, trade finance, and inventory management, the company has continuously strengthened its balance sheet.

Sunbeth operates across the agricultural value chain alongside affiliated businesses under common ownership, including Sunbeth Shipping and Logistics Limited, regional sourcing hubs in Ghana and Cameroon, SFI Agri Commodities UK Limited for European and Asian trading, and Sunbeth Food International Limited for planned cocoa and cashew processing. All entities operate independently on commercial terms, with the credit ratings assigned strictly on Sunbeth’s standalone financial profile.

Reacting to the ratings upgrade, Sunbeth’s Chief Operating Officer, Nzubechukwu Anisiobi, stated that the independent evaluations validate the company’s financial discipline and governance.

He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to expanding across the agricultural value chain and delivering long-term economic value to partners, financiers, and the broader Nigerian economy.
