Wife of the Speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly, Mrs Kundumiyo Dajoh, has donated a brand-new Peugeot 406 vehicle to the Speaker’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Raphael Kasha.

In a statement released over the weekend in Makurdi, the Speaker’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Titus Atondu, described the gesture as a remarkable act that would be remembered for years to come.

Atondu said the donation reflected Mrs Dajoh’s people-centred leadership and applauded her efforts as President of the Legislators’ Wives Association (LEWA), crediting her with transforming the group into a dynamic platform within the state.

He further noted that her ongoing support through various initiatives has bolstered the leadership efforts of her husband, Rt. Hon. Aondona Dajoh, in repositioning the Benue Assembly for greater legislative effectiveness.

“This gesture is not only admirable but also exemplifies the supportive and visionary role Mrs Dajoh has assumed since becoming LEWA President. Her generosity sets an example for others to follow,” Atondu said.

While handing over the vehicle keys to the Chief of Staff at a brief presentation ceremony, Mrs Dajoh explained that the donation was intended to enhance the Chief of Staff’s mobility and operational efficiency.

“This car is to assist you in your duties and enable you to serve more effectively in your role with the Speaker and the Assembly,” she stated.

In his remarks, Hon. Raphael Kasha thanked Mrs Dajoh for what he described as an extraordinary gesture of goodwill, pledging his continued dedication to his responsibilities and to the success of the Speaker’s administration.

He also offered prayers for divine blessings on Mrs Dajoh and appealed for similar support for other staff members in future.
