A new twist has emerged in the kidnapping saga of Folasade Odumosu, wife of retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.

One of the suspects arrested in connection with the crime has confessed to committing the offence, revealing that they were hired to carry out the kidnapping.

According to the suspect, “Someone gave us the job,” but he declined to reveal the identity of their paymaster.

The police had earlier arrested two suspects, Agbojule Smart and Keleke Michael, in connection with the crime, while two other members of the gang were killed during the rescue operation.

The retired AIG’s wife was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo, Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The abductors took her through a swampy area to an unknown destination after dragging her out of her Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle, SUV.
