President has praised the growing cooperation between the Federal Government and subnational administrations, describing it as vital for inclusive governance and poverty reduction across.
Speaking during his visit to Adamawa on Monday to commission projects, the President said the level of collaboration among leaders at different tiers of government was “extremely encouraging,” noting that state authorities were effectively carrying citizens along in governance.
Tinubu urged government officials to sustain the momentum, stressing that inclusive leadership remains the most valuable investment in democracy. According to him, when citizens feel included in governance processes, the country moves closer to eliminating poverty in all its forms.
He added that the ultimate reward of democratic investment lies in improving the lives of ordinary people, emphasizing that policies and projects must continue to focus on inclusion and shared prosperity.
