Senator Yari welcomes Gov.Lawal to APC, calls for unity in Zamfara
Former Zamfara governor and current serving Senator, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has welcomed the decision of Governor Dauda Lawal to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a step that could strengthen unity and political stability in the state.
In a statement issued on Monday by Yari’s Director General of Media, Al’mansoor Gusau, the Former Governor said the development signals the beginning of a promising chapter for Zamfara.
He noted that the governor’s move would further consolidate the state’s position within the APC and boost optimism for future electoral victories.
According to the statement, Zamfara State stands at the threshold of a new and promising chapter. The recent decision of Governor Dauda Lawal to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a substantial development that further strengthens the party and reinforces Zamfara’s position as a stronghold of progressive politics.
