Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola has doled out financial grants of N75,000 each to 3,000 market women and men across the Ogun Central Senatorial District under his 5th Market Women/Men Support Fund Empowerment Programme.
Implemented in partnership with the National Productivity Centre, the initiative is specifically designed to strengthen small-scale businesses, improve everyday livelihoods, and stimulate grassroots economic growth within the senatorial district.
Speaking on the milestone on Thursday, Senator Adeola emphasized his unwavering dedication to uplifting local commerce and traders at the grassroots level.
“We were delighted to empower 3,000 market women and men from Ogun Central Senatorial District with grants of N75,000 each under our 5th Market Women/Men Support Fund Empowerment Programme,” the lawmaker stated, noting that the scheme is aimed at driving economic resilience.
Beyond the direct financial injection, the senator assured constituents of broader developmental goals targeted at the commercial sector.
He further affirmed that the empowerment drive is structured to complement the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside the ongoing infrastructure and development efforts of Governor Dapo Abiodun in Ogun State.
