The Senate has confirmed the appointment of the Chairman and Commissioners of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) as nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The confirmation followed the adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service during Tuesday’s plenary session.
Those confirmed include Agbaje Opeyemi Olukayode, representing the South-West, who will serve as Chairman of the Commission.
Others are Hafiz Muhammad Kawu Ibrahim (North-West) as Commissioner, Technical, Samuel Chigizie Uwandu (South-East) as Commissioner, Inspectorate, Charles Efe Sylvester Emukowhate (South-South) as Commissioner, Finance, and Bello Abubakar Malabu (North-East) as Commissioner, Administration.
