The Senate has affirmed the arrangement of Abdulrasheed Bawa as considerable Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This followed the screening of the chosen one at the Committee of the Whole on Wednesday.
Bawa had before at whole, reacted to inquiries from representatives on his vision and mission whenever affirmed as director of the commission.
First to contribute was the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege who said that the designation of Bawa was special and a motivational one.

“I have been here; this is my 6th year in the Senate. Also, I have seen chosen people precede us. I have not considered any to be expressive in his introduction.

Bawa, an indigene of Kebbi and a guaranteed hostile to illegal tax avoidance expert has a Bachelor Degree in Economics.
Newsmen reports that previous executives of the commission included Nuhu Ribadu, Farida Waziri, Ibrahim Lamorde, Ibrahim Magu and Mohammed Umar.
