Sanwo-Olu, other S’West Govs hold closed-door meeting in Lagos

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, played host to his counterparts from the South-West region on Monday as they gathered for a critical zonal meeting.

The meeting, held at the Lagos House in Ikeja, brought together Governors Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti) to discuss pressing issues affecting the region and the country at large.

The South-West Governors Forum, the umbrella body for the six governors, aims to address various challenges and explore opportunities for collaboration and growth.

The closed-door meeting, which commenced at 12 noon, is a significant platform for the governors to share ideas and strategies to enhance the region’s development.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hazmat, welcomed his colleagues to Lagos, setting the stage for a productive and fruitful discussion.
