Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has officially inaugurated 20 Local Government Coordinators for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a grassroots initiative designed to bridge the communication gap between the Federal Government and local communities.

At a ceremony held on Wednesday at the 10 Degrees Event Centre in Oregun, Governor Sanwo-Olu administered the Oath of Allegiance to the new officials.

To ensure they can effectively navigate the state's 20 local government areas, the Governor also presented each coordinator with a branded vehicle.

He clarified that the move is not a political campaign but a proactive activation of the government’s commitment to transparency, ensuring citizens are fully informed about national reforms, including infrastructure development, debt reduction, and economic restructuring.

Chief of Staff to the Governor and State Coordinator of the initiative, Tayo Ayinde, emphasized that the appointments are functional roles rather than honorary titles.

He tasked the coordinators with establishing a robust feedback loop, where community concerns and aspirations can directly inform future policy directions.
