Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat visit Tinubu for eid-el-kabir celebration

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, on Wednesday visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as part of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

According to reports, the visit provided an opportunity to reaffirm the cordial working relationship between Lagos State and the Federal Government in advancing national development and improving the well-being of Nigerians.

The Governor in a post on his social media page noted that it is always a pleasure to receive President Tinubu in Lagos, describing the visit as symbolic of the strong ties between the state and the Presidency.

“It is always a pleasure to have the President back home in Lagos, and an opportunity to reaffirm the working relationship between Lagos State and the Federal Government as we remain committed to national progress and the well-being of our people,” Sanwo-Olu stated.

The visit formed part of the activities marking the Eid-el-Kabir celebration across the country.
