SAIPEC 2025: Solewant Group drives innovation, sustainability for Africa’s energy transition

Solewant Group, a leader in steel pipe manufacturing, pipe coating solutions, metal fabrication, and energy training, has reinforced its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and long-term solutions for Africa’s energy transition at the Sub-Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC 2025).
The prestigious event, held at the Eko Hotel Conference Hall in Lagos brought together key stakeholders from the oil, gas, and water industries to discuss advancements in technology and regional energy strategies.
Solewant Group’s delegation, led by Group Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Solomon Ewanehi, featured top executives from its five subsidiaries:Solewant Nigeria Ltd (SNL), Solewant Specialty Protective Coating and Paints Ltd (SSPC), Fields Joint Coatings Ltd (FJC), Pipes and Metals Industries Ltd (PMI), Solewant Energy Training Institute (SETI).
At its exhibition booth, the company showcased its engineering design capabilities, pipeline structures, protective coatings, thermal insulation, and advanced training programs tailored for energy professionals.
A major highlight was the announcement of the 9th Energy Summit, scheduled for November 27–28, 2025, and a call for papers for the Solewant Journal of Energy Innovation, aimed at driving industry knowledge and expertise.
In line with SAIPEC 2025’s mission to promote regional energy collaboration, Solewant Group actively participated in discussions on local content policies, technology-driven partnerships, and energy workforce development.
The Executives also engaged in high-level meetings with government agencies, multinational corporations, and industry leaders, focusing on expanding business operations and strengthening Africa’s energy infrastructure.
