Colour authorities and trend forecasters like Pantone, WSGN and Etsy have started releasing their colour predictions for next year, many of which are bright hues that give a jolt of energy during the bleakness of the pandemic. Here is a break down of all the biggest colour trends of 2022. Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2022: Very Peril The blue-purple hue is described as “blending the faithfulness and constancy of blue with the energy and excitement of red.” WGSN Colour of the Year 2022: Orchid Flower The saturated magenta colour is supposed to reflect a sense of positivity and escapism through its bright nature. Etsy Colour of the Year 2022: Emerald Green Emerald Green is said to reflect harmony, growth, royalty and refinement. Pantone Spring 2022 Colour: Spun Sugar The pastel blue colour is meant to evoke a fresh breath of air.
