Gov. Ahmed Ododo of Kogi, has congratulated the National Chairman of APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda on his 58th birthday, describing him as a committed leader driving stability and growth within the ruling party.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr  Femi Fanwo on Saturday in Lokoja, Ododo said Yilwatda’s leadership has continued to contribute significantly to the unity, cohesion and progress of the APC.

The governor noted that Yilwatda’s re-election at the party’s 2026 National Convention was a clear reflection of the confidence reposed in him by members and stakeholders of the party nationwide.

According to Ododo, Yilwatda has brought to bear his experience, intellectual depth and understanding of contemporary politics in steering the affairs of the governing party at a critical period in the nation’s political development.

“On behalf of my family, government and good people of Kogi, I warmly congratulate our dear National Chairman, Prof.  Nentawe Yilwatda  on the occasion of his 58th birthday,” the governor stated.

Ododo further commended him for providing courageous and mature leadership at a defining moment in the country’s democratic journey.

He added that Yilwatda’s commitment to party unity aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

“I particularly commend your efforts in strengthening the structures of our party and providing the leadership required to keep the APC united and focused on the task of delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda of our great leader, President Tinubu, GCFR,” Ododo said.

The governor expressed confidence that Yilwatda’s leadership would remain pivotal as the APC consolidates its gains and prepares for future challenges and opportunities.

He prayed Almighty God to grant the national chairman many more years in good health, wisdom and fulfilment, and for greater accomplishments in his service to the party and the nation.

“May Almighty God continue to strengthen you, bless you with good health and grant you many more years of fruitful service to our great party, our nation and humanity.

Happy 58th birthday, Your Excellency. Congratulations, and many happy returns,” the governor added.
