Obasa pushes ‘01’ logo against Tinubu

Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, is in a logo war with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Positioning his logo as the mark for dominance over other political signature symbols, especially that of Tinubu’s iconic broken chain, (Freedom) logo in particular.
Obasa launched his encircled 1 logo emblem, emeshed in colour red, (Danger) placed above the All Progressives Congress, APC, party logo, (Dominance).
Thereafter unveiled and mandated all his followers, associates and hangers-on to adopt as page photos on all their social media platforms.
While the APC family throughout the federation, associates of Mr President in other political parties, and friends of the administration have adopted Mr President’s Broken Chain logo.
Which is being used in creative and ingenious ways, to promote the ideals and essence of the man Asiwaju Tinubu; reckoning with the fact that Tinubu’s ‘Broken Chain’ logo, symbolizes freedom to profit in all ways and for all peoples.
Obasa on the other competing hand is enforcing the use of his logo on hapless members of his personal political cult, The Mandate Movement, TMM, all over Lagos State, in an attempt to displace that of the President and flush it out of public reckoning and space.
His right hand Alhaji Kola Egunjobi celebrating the mileage the Obasa 01 logo has achieved, especially as it dots all public spaces in his Agege constituency boasts: “The undisputed symbol that has become a household portrait in Agege, Lagos, Nigeria and beyond.
’01’, the defining symbol of Asiwaju Omo Asiwaju, Muda Eko, Obasa Lagos, the cat with nine lives. Obasa 1, Agege 1, Lagos 1, Nigeria 1. A symbol of resilience, a mark of dominance, a statement of continuity.”
The House of Representatives hopeful further adds: “Our emblem of oneness: the emblem of our unity stands as a mark of distinction, set us apart from the rest. It is the symbol that reveals the pathway to freedom, prosperity, and enduring strength.
“When this emblem rests upon you, recognition is inevitable. The world does not look away, it acknowledges your greatness, your identity, and your place among the distinguished. Let carry with pride.”
Team Obasa will soon launch and introduce his personal political anthem to rival Asiwaju’s ‘On Your Mandate’: even as having subtly appropriated the name Asiwaju to himself.
