NRS unveils Rev360 to drive tax reform

The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced plans to launch a new digital platform, Rev360, in a move aimed at transforming tax administration and improving service delivery across the country.
According to a statement issued in Abuja, the next-generation platform is scheduled to go live on April 30, marking a major step in the agency’s push toward greater efficiency, transparency, and enhanced taxpayer experience.
Rev360 is designed as an upgrade to existing digital systems, building on earlier reforms that introduced electronic filing and reduced reliance on physical processes. The platform is expected to deliver a more integrated and intelligent ecosystem capable of meeting the evolving needs of taxpayers and the broader economy.
The Service explained that the initiative signals a transition to what it describes as “Tax Administration 3.0” — a framework driven by automation, real-time reporting, and seamless integration of tax processes into everyday business operations. Officials say the shift will not only accelerate processing times but also strengthen compliance and improve decision-making within the system.
Under the new arrangement, taxpayers are expected to benefit from more flexible engagement options and a smoother interface when interacting with tax authorities. The reform also aligns with the agency’s broader strategy of leveraging technology to modernise revenue collection and align with global best practices.
The development is being implemented under the leadership of the NRS Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, whose administration has prioritised innovation and institutional capacity building. The agency noted that Rev360 reflects its commitment to improving taxpayer confidence while strengthening the integrity of Nigeria’s tax system.
Following a pilot phase, the rollout will begin with medium and emerging taxpayers as part of a structured implementation plan. The phased approach, according to the Service, is intended to ensure system stability while providing adequate support through training, stakeholder engagement, and communication initiatives ahead of full deployment.
The NRS reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement, stating that the introduction of Rev360 represents a key milestone in its journey toward delivering efficient, transparent, and taxpayer-focused services.
