NNPC Limited has commissioned and handed over three rehabilitated hospital wards to the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.

The project, executed through the NNPC Foundation, involved the upgrade of Wards G, H, and J, each contributing to a combined 100-bed capacity, alongside installation of new beds and a central medical gas system.

NNPC said the intervention also included replacement of roofing and ceilings, upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems, and installation of new flooring to improve patient care conditions.

Group Chief Executive Officer, Bashir Bayo Ojulari, represented by Chief Financial Officer Adedapo Segun, said the project reflects the company’s approach to combining financial performance with social impact.

“Our concept of profitability includes the positive impact we make on society,” he said.
