NGX grants Fidelity Bank fresh extension to release H1 2026 audited results

Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has granted Fidelity Bank Plc an additional extension of time to publish its Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the half-year ended June 30, 2026.

The lender disclosed this development in an official press statement released in Lagos on Monday, October 5, 2026, signed by Company Secretary Ezinwa Unuigboje.

The NGX had previously approved an initial deadline extension to September 30, 2026, following an announcement made by the financial institution on August 21, 2026.

According to the management, the audited half-year figures will be presented to shareholders and the investing public immediately upon securing the required regulatory approvals.

In line with market regulations, Fidelity Bank reaffirmed that the closed trading period for dealing in its shares remains active for all bank insiders and connected persons.

The restriction will stay in effect until 24 hours after the eventual publication of both the H1 2026 audited financial statements and the unaudited financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2026.
