A man identified as Akande Kazeem Olayinka has reportedly gone into hiding after surviving an alleged violent attack at a hotel in the Makoko area of Lagos.
The incident allegedly occurred on July 11, 2023, when four men armed with cutlasses and knives reportedly stormed the hotel and attacked Olayinka and his male partner.
Sources alleged that the attackers threatened to kill the two men during the assault. While Olayinka reportedly managed to escape, his male partner was allegedly attacked and sustained an injury to one of his hands.
A good samaritan was said to have intervened, rescuing Olayinka’s male partner from the attackers and preventing the situation from escalating further.
According to sources, the hotel manager claimed that Olayinka and his male partner had been frequent visitors to the hotel before the incident. However, this claim has not been independently verified.
Since the attack, Olayinka’s whereabouts have remained unknown, with sources saying he has gone into hiding for fear of his safety.
Investigations into the alleged attack are ongoing.
