Lagos Police Command gets new PPRO

The Lagos State Police Command has gotten a new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Abimbola Adebisi.

The new PPRO was appointed by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, following the promotion of the former PPRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, to the role of Force Public Relations Officer.

Hundeyin confirmed the appointment on his X page on Monday, urging Lagos residents to offer Adebisi "all the support and cooperation she needs to succeed."

SP Adebisi holds a degree in English Language and Literature from Tai Solarin University of Education and a Master's degree in English Language from the National Open University of Nigeria. Her professional background includes training in human rights, conflict management, human psychology, and child protection from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre in Ghana.
