Kaduna: Police nab three suspects in drug bust

The Kaduna State Police Command has apprehended three individuals involved in drug trafficking during a raid in the Lere Local Government Area.

The operation was conducted late Saturday night, following instructions from the Commissioner of Police, ASP Mansir Hassan confirmed on Sunday.

The suspects, identified as Ahmed Sama’ila and Nuhu Ahmadu from Lazuru village, and Sagir Idris from Mangorori, were found in possession of a significant haul of illicit substances.

This included 114 Exol-5 tablets, 22 sachets of Diazepam, three sachets of Tramadol, several wraps of dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, and a sharp knife.

Hassan stated that the suspects will face prosecution once the investigation is complete, urging community members to assist law enforcement by providing timely information on illegal activities in their areas.
