JUST IN: Massive security at N’assembly as Tinubu presents N47.96tn budget

As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu prepares to present the 2025 Appropriation Bill today to a joint session of the National Assembly today, the security at the complex has beef significantly tightened, with police officers stationed at all key entry points to ensure smooth proceedings.

The move comes in anticipation of a high-stakes budget presentation that is set to reveal an estimated N47.96 trillion in spending.

Armed officers from the Mobile Police (MOPOL), alongside other security agencies, have been deployed at critical access points, including the Main Gate, Villa Gate, and the Annex Gates.
