Jigawa: NITDA trains primary school teachers on digital literacy

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has organised a capacity building workshop for primary school teachers in Jigawa State.

The teachers ware drawn from various primary schools across the 27 local government areas in the state.

In connection with the training, the Youth and Civil Society Coalition for Development (YCSCD) honoured about six people for their maximum support to education.

Those honoured include the former DIG and current Chairman of Local Government Service Commission, Uba Bala Ringim and the current Commissioner of Education. Lawan Yunusa Dan, Zomo

Other recipients of the award include the current wali of Kazaure Emirate and Senatorial candidate under APC for Jigawa northwest seat Hon, Baban Gida Husaini Walin Kazaure.

Meanwhile, the training was aimed at educating the teachers on digital literacy.
